The Story
How It Began
The ALS 100 was founded by friends Alex Litt and Cory Sullivan, whose families were profoundly affected by ALS. Alex and Cory first met in their early 20s when both moved to New York for work and they bonded, among other things, over their love of golf. However, at the same time, Cory had just lost his father to ALS. Eventually, both moved out of NY and the two lost touch. Nearly 10 years after they first met, they ran into each other at a golf course in Branson, MO. At the time, Alex’s father had just been diagnosed with ALS. Reconnecting through their shared passion for golf, they created a challenge that transforms their personal loss into meaningful impact for the ALS community.
